Roller rails are designed for the free (idle) passage of products with small grain diameters. The back of each roller forming the rail is wide and very close to each other. In large, irregular products, the product touches the rollers from many points, thus easing the flow, while in small products, the roller pitch is narrow, thus easing the flow.
